The chocolate tasting took place in the evening of Friday 11 December 2015 in the workshop of chocolate makers Bello et Angeli, in St Orens. Their workshop is very small, and we were more than 20 people, but the welcome we received made us feel very comfortable.
While Mr Bello worked on some special Christmas chocolates, Mr Angeli explained how the chocolates are made. Mr Angeli spoke with great charm, and in excellent English, and everyone was able to understand what he said. Several of us helped to make some chocolates, and afterwards we all tasted them, and some others. We especially liked the chocolates called « Sakura », made with Cherry Blossom tea. These were among the chocolates that helped Bello and Angeli win the top prize in the recent annual chocolate competition in Paris. The evening was very interesting, and our thanks go especially to Mr Angeli for his kindness and patience. His chocolates are highly recommended by the the members of the association who took part!
